ELANCO Events
reserves the right to accept or decline any calendar submission. The guidelines below should be used when submitting requests to have an event included on the calendar. They will also be used to help guide the decisions made by ELANCO Events.
- The event must be in, or be organized by an organization in, the Eastern Lancaster County (ELANCO) area. The ELANCO area is defined as the areas within the ELANCO School District: New Holland Borough, Earl Township, East Earl Township, Terre Hill Borough, Brecknock Township and Caernarvon Township.
- Calendar events are intended to be community events, organized by, sponsored by, or benefitting legally recognized non-profit organizations in the ELANCO community. Sales, promotions, free workshops or other marketing endeavors will not be published. Personal fundraisers will also not be published.
- Events must be open to the public and be occasional by nature. Regular weekly or monthly meetings and/or events for limited groups will not be published.
- Organizations are limited to listing two events per month.
- We reserve the right to limit the amount of information provided on the community calendar for any event. Event organizers should provide a link to a separate URL (website address, Facebook page, etc.) where readers can find additional event information. ELANCO Events reserves the right to review the validity of any separate URLs provided.
- The calendar is an equal-opportunity resource and is non-discriminating. Consideration for inclusion is done so without regard to the race, color, age, sex, religion, national origin, disability, handicap, marital status or veteran’s status of sponsoring organizations/members.
- Events that promote any specific religion or religious belief will not be considered.
- Events that promote discrimination based on race, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, marital status, or political beliefs will not be considered.
- ELANCO Events reserves the right to reject any event submissions that it deems to be inappropriate for any reason.
- We do not endorse political candidates. We will not promote campaigning for elected officials or publish events that are political in nature.
- We will publish calendar listings in good faith, but the submitting organizer of the event will be responsible for the accuracy of the entry. ELANCO Events
is not responsible for errors, or any losses/inconvenience resulting from any errors.
Non-profit organizations and for-profit businesses are welcome to attend Community Collaboration Meetings, Community Lunches and/or other community events to distribute flyers and network with community leaders.
